Sea Turtle Conservation and Corcovado Eco Community Development

“The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed”. – Mahatma Gandhi

Don´t know what a volunteer program applies to?

This is what you are looking for!

Experience one week volunteering in a unique and life changing adventure in our Sea Turtle Conservation Program in the Central Pacific and one week working with communities in the majestic Osa Peninsula with the Eco Community Development program

Discover the paradisiacal beaches of the Pacific to protect and conserve the fascinating sea turtles. But that’s not all! In addition to working on sea turtle conservation, you will also be part of our exciting Eco-Community Development Project in the lush Osa Peninsula.

Here, you will have the opportunity to get involved in local initiatives that promote sustainable practices, reforestation, environmental education, and regenerative agriculture, contributing to the mitigation of climate change.

«Imagine waking up every morning with the sound of the ocean and/or the lush tropical jungle as your backdrop.»

Our volunteer program offers a enriching and meaningful experience, where every action you take has a direct impact on biodiversity preservation and the building of a more sustainable future for future generations.

Sea Turtle Conservation (Central Pacific)

Playa Hermosa-Punta Mala Wildlife Refuge

During the first week, you will participate as a volunteer in the sea turtle conservation program. You will have the unique opportunity to directly contribute to the preservation of this emblematic species while engaging in monitoring activities, protection efforts, releasing hatchlings, among others.

In the month of June, you will specifically be involved in the construction of the nursery where the nests are relocated.

Corcovado Eco Community Development (Osa Peninsula)

El Progreso Drake Bay – Osa Peninsula

During the second week, you will explore one of the most biologically intense places, hosting 2.5% of all the planet’s biodiversity. It is home to a wide variety of endemic species. In this program, you will have the opportunity to support local community members and engage in various regenerative practices aimed at improving food security, protecting water supplies, and restoring biodiversity levels compromised by human and climatic alterations.

Through this program, you will participate in a combination of activities including forest restoration, regenerative agriculture, and community and environmental education initiatives.

Registrations are now open, and the volunteer program operates from June 1st to December 15th.
