Empowering communities through environmental education, sustainable livelihoods, and local leadership.

At Corcovado Foundation, conservation begins with people. We work alongside communities across the Osa Peninsula to strengthen local capacities, improve livelihoods, and promote sustainable development linked to nature conservation. Through environmental education, community training, and local leadership initiatives, we help communities become active partners in protecting the ecosystems that sustain them.

Our programs combine environmental awareness, sustainable tourism training, and community engagement, empowering residents, especially children, to participate in conservation while building resilient local economies.
