Help sea turtles reach the ocean safely!

Playa Hermosa –Punta Mala Wildlife Refuge, Costa Rica

During the 2024 nesting season, thanks to the dedication of our team and the invaluable support of volunteers from around the world, we successfully relocated 15,961 sea turtle eggs. As a result of these efforts, 9,623 hatchlings made it safely to the ocean!

However, sea turtles continue to face threats such as nest poaching, loss of nesting areas,and predation by animals like coatis, foxes, and raccoons. These challenges make our conservation work more urgent than ever.
